The Five Freedoms

Rare Breeds Survival Trust worksto conserve and protect the United Kingdom’s rare native breeds of farm animals from extinction. It aims to conserve the UK's rich & varied livestock heritage as a vital genetic resource for future generations and the benefit of agriculture. 

The Working Animal Alliance believes "in a world where working animals benefit from the recognition they deserve for the invaluable contribution they provide to humankind."

Hillside Animal Sanctuary has over 4,000 animals, most of whom have been saved from the farming industry.  Based in Norfolk. 

The Goodheart Animal Sanctuary, home to over 200 rescued animals including cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, alpacas and more, in Worcestershire.

Ferne Animal Sanctuary have  over 300 resident animals which need life-long care (Chard, Somerset)

  • Every Pig Rescue Service, a small team of volunteers who work year round to help pigs find their forever homes.
  • Curly Tails Pig Sanctuary, Buckinghamshire.  A registered charity that rescues unwanted pet pigs and give them a safe and loving home
  • Pigs in the Wood, a pig sanctuary near Huddersfield.  Their residents include goats, pigs and chickens
