Charity Christmas Cards to help horses and donkeys

Take a look at the Christmas cards from the Hillside Animal Sanctuary Gift Shop here

It's still early for Christmas cards but great to get organised in advance!   Many horse and donkey charities have Christmas cards, and also virtual gifts, to help horses, ponies, donkeys and other animals in need.   Virtual gifts include items such as veterinary treatments or water troughs, and educating young people about horse and donkey welfare.  And many charities run adoption schemes so that you can adopt a donkey or adopt a horse (or sponsor them, depending on the term used by the charity) and give adoption gifts.

As an example, the cards pictured left are available from the Hillside Animal Sanctuary who care for 4,000 horses, ponies, donkeys, cows, and other animals.  They have more Christmas cards and gifts here including a calendar for 2026.

The Northcote Heavy Horses and Animals Animal Sanctuary in Lincolnshire has been caring for horses of all sizes from miniature ponies and Shetlands to Shires and Clydesdales for over 25 years.  It is both a visitors centre and an equestrian sanctuary providing a forever home to horses & animals in need.  As well as Christmas cards, they also have a 2026 calendar.   Or why not treat a loved one to a Heavy Horse Experience Day voucher?

The Horse Trust calendar is just wonderful!  I know, because I've had one for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 and I can't wait to see the one for 2026!  Their calendars feature horses and ponies who have been rescued by the Trust or who are living out their retirement days there.   Many of these have served in the Forces or the Police, or they've been therapy ponies or they've been rescued.   The quality of the calendar is great, too.  They have Christmas cards, too!   Take a look at the Horse Trust's shop.   The Horse Trust has a lovely range of Christmas cards
