War Paws

War Paws aim "to alleviate the pain and suffering of animals in hostile environments and areas of civil conflict".    They help the forgotten animals of war and they set up a fund to help the Kabul Small Animal Rescue with the costs of running a shelter and clinic in Kabul.

War Paws have partnered with Animals of Kurdistan to set up the first ever animal shelter in Iraq.  It has about 80 dogs in residence who need your help.

And you can help them raise much needed funds with recycling - ink cartridges and stamps and used gold and silver.

War Paws ask people to donate £1 a month to help an animal in a war-torn country - and it's amazing how far £1 will go in some parts of the world!  Please click here to donate to their Give a Quid, Save a Life campaign

There are other ways you can help too, with online shopping (Give as you live and Easyfundraising) and an Amazon wishlist.

There's also an online shop with accessories, pet products, clothing for humans and stationery.  And don't forget to check out their sponsorship gifts - there's a Doggy Care Package, a Kitty Care Package, A Donkey Care Package and a Spay/Neuter and Vaccinate Package.  Why not give one of these gifts on behalf of your own pet and help other pets in need?
