Are you a runner? World Animal Protection need you!

(February 07, 2017)

If you love running and want to do your bit to help animals, then please think about running for an animal charity in a marathon and raising money for them.

World Animal Protection are looking for runners to take part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon (so 13.1 miles) in October 2017 in London.

WAP move the world to protect animals from suffering and cruelty.  Amongst their successes, they:

  • help over 70,000 animals after Typhoon Haiyan
  • almost halved the number of bears being exploited for bear bile in Vietnam
  • helped secured the future of the London Metropolitan Police Wildlife Crime Unit
  • rescued suffering bears and brought them to sanctuary,
  • defeated plans for a US-style intensive dairy farm in the UK.
