Jungle for Jaguars Appeal in Belize

Posted on

Here's another chance to help millions of wildlife and jaguars in particular.

The World Land Trust  is raising money for its Jungle for Jaguars Appeal.   They are 90% of the way there at the time of writing - they are aiming to raise £600,000 to purchase and protect 8,154 acres.

This purchase will enable the World Land Trust and its local partner, the Corozal Sustainable Future Initiative,  to protect a wildlife corridor that's vital for wildlife. The jungle is home to 22 jaguars in the northern most district of Belize called Corozal.  The area is increasingly dominated by agriculture and is rapidly losing its forest so this appeal is really important.
