Where and how to collect stamps for charity

This is an appeal that absolutely everyone can get involved with.  Schools and colleges, pubs and clubs, businesses and charities can put out collecting boxes.

You can put out slippery fish wallets pinned to noticeboards for people to put their stamps into in canteens, workplace shops and coffee bars.

Your family, friends, neighbours, long lost relatives, Facebook friends, Twitter followers, old school mates and fellow club members can all collect.

Our appeal is international.  You can ask anyone overseas to start collecting stamps through any social media.  The more stamps we all collect, the more we can help animals!

At home, you could put an envelope into a drawer ready to put your stamps into.

What can you collect?

Used stamps, postcards, stamp albums, anything relating to postage!  You can also collect postcards, the older the better, for sale for animal charities.

Old coins (British and international) can also be used again so if you've got a few coins lying about from your holidays in the days before we all went decimal, you could send those in as well.

This is a good chance to turn out the attic or those boxes you've had since moving in x number of years ago and find out what you've got that could help animals
