Charity Christmas Cards to help horses and donkeys

Hillside Animal Sanctuary have a number of Christmas cards, including these two which come in a pack of 10

It's still early for Christmas cards and many charities are feeling the impact of COVID-19 so please either find another way to help and/or come back to this page, as I will keep updating it.

It's also worth taking a look at their gift and shop sections as many have wonderful virtual gifts giving working animals the help they need, whether it's veterinary treatment or water troughs, and educating young people about horse and donkey welfare.  And many charities run adoption schemes so that you can adopt a donkey or adopt a horse (or sponsor them, depending on the term used by the charity) and give adoption gifts.

The cards pictured left are available from the Hillside Animal Sanctuary who care for 4,000 horses, ponies, donkeys, cows, and other animals.  They have more Christmas cards and gifts here including a calendar for 2024.

The Brooke has both Christmas cards and virtual gifts available from its online shop The Brooke has both Christmas cards and virtual gifts available from its online shop.    The charity reaches over 1.4 million working horses, donkeys and mules across the world.  It recognises that these animals support  over 600 million people living in some of the world’s poor and most vulnerable regions.  Find out more

The Horse Trust calendar is just wonderful!  I know, because I've had one for 2022 and 2023 and pictured right is the one for 2024!  It features horses and ponies who have been rescued by the Trust or who are living out their retirement days there.   Many of these have served in the Forces or the Police, or they've been therapy ponies or they've been rescued.   The quality of the calendar is great, too.  They have Christmas cards, too!   Take a look at the Horse Trust's Christmas shop.   This is the Horse Trust Calendar for 2024
